Our History
In 1955, a customer came into Werner Hausmann’s New Jersey wood working shop with a unique request – a wood platform for parallel rehabilitation bars. That was the beginning of Hausmann’s transition into wooden medical tables and furniture.
People Make the Difference
The Hausmann corporate mission has always included making the finest quality products and delivering the best possible service to our customers. The pursuit of this goal includes maintaining a plant with the best available technology. However, it is the human component that ultimately determines the level of quality produced.
It is our employees’ skills and dedication that separate Hausmann products from our competitors. Their tireless commitment to quality and attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the products we make and the way we relate to our customers. This is why the Hausmann story has spanned 65+ years.
Over 90% of our products are made in our 65,000 sq. ft. factory in Northvale, New Jersey. Hausmann’s quality products are manufactured for the world, by Americans and made in the U.S.A. We pride ourselves on manufacturing everything we possibly can and only having a few select products made to our specifications by trusted domestic and overseas vendors.
In today’s business environment, staying at the front of the pack is an increasingly harder position to maintain – at Hausmann it is a way of life. Hausmann is committed to maintaining our reputation and position of leadership. We will continue to strive toward this goal every day and it will show in everything we do.
We value your business and want you to know that we appreciate your continued support as we move ahead with confidence and gratitude into the future.
