In the beginning
In 1955, a customer came into Werner Hausmann’s woodworking shop in Washington Heights with a unique request -a set of parallel rehabilitation bars. Though he had never made something like this before, Werner’s attitude of “always say yes” led him into the industry he would eventually lead – the manufacture of physical therapy equipment, medical tables, and cabinetry.

Over 80% of our products are made in our 60,000 sq. ft. factory in Northvale, New Jersey. Hausmann’s quality products are manufactured for the world, by Americans and made in the U.S.A. We pride ourselves on manufacturing everything we possibly can and having select products made to our specifications by trusted domestic and overseas vendors.
